Anonymous Philippines Hacked Government Websites for Million Mask March



Using the hash tag #BloodyMonday in their post, Internet hacktivists Anonymous Philippines breached some Ph government websites as a prelude to the Million Mask March Event this coming November 5. The photo shown above is their official deface page for the operation.

For the Million Mask March, protesters are encouraged to wear masks and join the peaceful protest to be held at the Batasang Pambansa along Batasan Road, Batasan Hills in Quezon City. According to the event poster, the protest march’s mission statement is “To remind this country what it has forgotten. That fairness, justice, and freedom are more than just words.”

Anonymous Philippines recently hacked Chinese websites as a protest against Beijing's increasing aggression on the West Philippine Sea. The group was first known when they hacked multiple government sites as a protest against the anti-cybercrime law in 2012.
